PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE PROCEEDING: @ AN ADMINISTRATIVE LAWYER / CLIENT RELATIONSHIP AND DISCLAIMER 1)
Articles appearing on this website, newsletters and
emails from the Matsuzaki General Counsel
Office (hereafter MGCO) as a firm of administrative lawyers, i.e.
"gyoseisyoshi" in Japanese, are for
reference purposes only and may not be updated. MGCO expressly disclaims any liability for any consequences done, or omitted
to be done in reliance upon any of the communications and consultation on this
website, newsletters and emails before establishing an administrative lawyer / client
relationship. All information in this website, newsletters and emails is provided "As Is,"
with no guarantee of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness or of the results
obtained from the use of this information. Furthermore, this information is
provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including, but not
limited to warranties of performance, merchantability and fitness for a
particular purpose. In other words, do not base any decision-making, or take any

MGCO is not responsible for any third party contents
which can be accessed through the website, newsletters and emails. 2)
E-mail correspondence and free consultations given
to non-clients of MGCO is not legal advice, and
should not be relied upon as such. That is, no administrative lawyer /
client relationship is established without the receipt of fees for
services to be rendered or the execution of a fee agreement signed by the senior
counsel. 3)
The functions of administrative
lawyers and attorneys ("bengoshi" in Japanese) are clearly distinguished.
Administrative lawyers never be involved in any of legal
proceedings for civil nor criminal cases, but act as supporters to help the
clients to proof onefs rights, duties and facts in legal aspects through
preparation of legal documentations with or
without proxy. In other words, administrative
lawyers are legal
professionals of preventive measures for legal matters before entering
litigations,
or supports for settling cases out of courts, which are much better in time &
money saving rather than legal battling in courts. 4)
Once an administrative lawyer / client
relationship is established, 50% of the fee (or may be 100% in case the total amount
was JPY80,000 or less) is to be paid to MGCO in advance as the initial payment before
setting about the services agreed. Any of retainer already rendered to MGCO cannot be given back to the clients, who wish
to cancel or even already cancelled the services agreed, no matter what the
reason is nor in which phase the service has been executed. The fees already rendered are then regarded as the penalty charges of cancellation and
the fee for the works done. 5)
Rates and contents of services are subject to
change without advance notice. The services are, therefore, to be provided with
new rates and new contents after the changing onwards. 6)
In case clients and MGCO entered litigations due to some legal conflict brought on, the competent
court is to be the one that has a jurisdiction onto the area in Japan, where
MGCO locates. @ PRIVACY POLICY HOW INFORMATION MAY BE COLLECTED AND
